Happy Birthday Aimee ~ Our Blessing to You

My Princess is 18 today.

IMG_7866cMy beautiful daughter,

 you are my eldest daughter, whom your father and I love;

with you we are so pleased.

You are no longer the tiny baby girl we brought home from the hospital. so small and full of promise.

You are now a beautiful godly young woman.

You are well equipped with everything you need to fulfill your destiny as a woman of God.

Before the foundation of the earth, God Almighty planned for your life and planned for you to be an amazing woman.

Psalm 139: 13-14 says that

He created your inmost being.

He knit you together in your mother’s womb.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

All the days ordained for you were written by God even before you were born.

God has made you intelligent–you have a strong mind.

God has made you beautiful.

I’ve also noticed since the time you were a little girl that our Lord has given you a great ability to sing like an angel.

You are able to capture moments with your photography that bring out the beauty in others,

sometimes a beauty that even they do not see.

You get along with everyone and are well-respected and well thought of by others, young and old alike.

You make wise decisions concerning your friends and in many other areas of your life.

You are an incredible young woman of faith, morals and values.

I am beyond joyful that God has given you to our family as a gift.

You are a heartwarming daughter.

Your father and I love you so much.

We want to for your birthday bless you with the promises of God.

You are His, and have been set apart from the world for his Holy purposes.

We ask the Lord to bless you with God’s everlasting love, wisdom, peace, and joy.

We ask the Lord to  bless you with sexual purity, marital fidelity, and many children of your own.

When you are ready, may the Lord bless you with an incredible godly husband, who will guide you and love you with his whole heart and will bring you much joy.

May God continue to keep His hand of favor and prosper you in all that you do, and may you serve our Lord Jesus Christ all the days of your life.

Love this Verse

 “Jesus said to hear,

‘I am the resurrection and the life.

Whoever believes in me,

though he die,

yet shall he live,

and everyone who lives

and believes in me

shall never die.

Do you believe this?’”

John 11:25-26

So Big So Fast

Lola is getting so big

so fast!!

My little love is twice the size she was when she came home!!

Look at my little girl.

Sweet little face!!

Now look at that smile!!058She is a busy girl!!

Still getting house broke, as to be expected, but for the most part she is doing pretty good!

010We are holding her way to much

008because she is going to be HUGE and will think we can still hold her like this.

028So tiny under the picnic table.

Her favorite things to do right now are chasing leaves

eating my planting pots and sticks.

She is a joy!!

051We love you Lola!!

Getting A Late Start Today

It was the first real rain of the season today.

Our family tradition is that on the day of the first rain we stay in our jammies or sweats all day.

Then we start with cocoa in front of the fireplace.

Maybe a movie later and soup for lunch.

Love all that!!

So we all sat in front of our big window to watch the rain come down for a few before we started for the day.

Cuddled with the new puppy after her first adventure in the rain.

It was so beautiful.

The clouds and the sound of the rain are so soothing.

Okay kids, lets open our Bible to….

0926130752…never mind. Let’s pray for the driver in our neighbors wall.

040 034Oh my.

The driver was okay, just embarrassed.

All that damage to the wall and the truck just had a bumped bumper, broken side view mirror and broken drivers side window.

Our poor neighbors.

So glad it was in the morning though instead of the afternoon when their kids are playing in the backyard.

Could have been tragic then.

Slow down in the rain!!

Smart Girl

Yesterday we all discussed what happened 12 years ago in America.

My oldest was 6 years old when the attack happened.

Now my youngest is 6.

I tried to explain the event to her in simple forms.

We remember those who needlessly perished in the events.

We honor the people who went above and beyond to save others  that day…

those that are still with us and those that were buried in the rubble doing courageous acts.

We pray for the families that lost loved ones.

We never forget.

At the end of the day she drew a picture to show her Daddy what she learned.

She went to church last night and prayed for the children left behind.

Children understand more than we give them credit for sometimes.
