VBS this week!!

Oh it is time again!!

Vacation Bible School is here!!

Rebecca, Belle and I stood in line for 48 minutes in the PRE- registered line to enter VBS this year.

There was lots to look at at least.

Our church does an incredible job with all productions.

This one is just as wonderful.

Cute huh??

Then they spend weeks getting ready for VBS.

Here are some of the results…

Our friend Rachelle is waaaaayyyy over there in the trading post.

One of the water towers in the court yard.

I think I will still have the kids bathe at home.

Nice of them to offer…?

Used water is just wrong.

Loving the buggy…

Look at all the gold Belle found!!

She can’t wait till she can go to VBS too!!

I am so proud of Becca for going.

I know in a church as big as ours that getting to hang out with people you know is really hard at these events.

Especially our VBS, it is filled with people not from our church that just know it will be fun for their kids.

It is a chance to teach others who don’t attend church regularly, about Jesus and how to be saved.

It is more of a evangelical time then in depth study for the “every Sunday” kids.

.

Becca was still up and ready to go and learn more about Jesus with a smile this morning.

She is such a blessing!

Becca had a really good time and made some new friends too :)

Good Luck Junior!!

Just offering up prayers to my nephew Junior who is off to boot camp and then will be on his way to being a U.S. Marine.

13 weeks of showing them what you are made of.

You are made of all the finest, bravest, strongest, hardest and truest things there are.

God bless you Junior during this journey to your dream.

Praying for you every single day.

So proud of you!!

Ladies Tea

I am a total advocate for the unborn.

I am becoming stronger in my speaking out for them.

I know that recently my kids and I spoke with a family friend who had no knowledge of how bad birth control is, how bad planned parenthood is, the day after pill…and she is an extremely intelligent woman. Point being, she called her 18 year old daughter and started telling her all this information we gave her. It began discussions between the mother and her daughter, the mother and the boyfriend and I am sure between the daughter and her boyfriend. I am seeing that I can make a difference even though I really had not seen the results of my “lectures” to others on the choices that we make regarding premarital sex, pregnancy, abortion and adoption.

This made the Ladies Tea that I went to that much more wonderful.

I really could only afford to buy one ticket.

I took Aimee and Samantha with me to the Tea in November, but this time it was just me.

That was not a fun thought, going to a Tea alone.

It was for a good cause and I knew I would learn more valuable information so I went by myself.

Fun.

Then I found out my friend Bridget had done the same thing!

She could only afford one ticket as well and was going by herself.

We could go together!!

Whoo hoo!!

Not my best picture but it shows how nice it was there.

We learned so much that day.

It breaks my heart the number of pregnancies terminated in one year.

In Medi-cal records alone, in California 2007 there were over 200,000 abortions of innocent little babies.

That does not include those paid for cash or through private insurance.

Latest information shows,

A baby’s heart starts beating within the first 18 days of life.

This is when the mother is only four days late for her menstrual period.

The baby’s heart is pumping by day 21.

(check Cha-Cha for yourself)

A baby is not a blob as planned parenthood states.

Blobs don’t have heartbeats.

The sixth commandment is: Thou shall not commit murder.

If a woman has an abortion at 6 weeks is that not murder?

So much on my heart right now…

So much I have learned or was reminded of…

I am hurting for those who have been there…wanting to help others not feel the pain that comes with abortion.

For they are still mothers and fathers,

just parents of murdered babies.

Murdered by choice.

Got Spoiled!

My sweet Becca spoiled me today.

She called me into the dinning room and had all this set up.

It was a surprise manicure!!

She had me sit down and she put my fingers to soak in a bowl of warm sudsy water while I picked a color from her collection to paint my nails.

As I soaked, then was dried and filed, we chit chatted about fun mom and daughter things.

It was so sweet and special.

I even got little polka dots!!

I am such a lucky mommy!!

She even was kind and did the same for her little sister.

Belle was so excited!!

Such a pretty shade of blue Belle picked.

Beautiful!!

Becca has such an amazing heart!

I am so blessed to have her for my daughter!!

Cutest Fundraiser EVER!!!

See this beautiful family??

They are an amazing Christian family that are in the process of trying to adopt their third child.

I am so honored to know them personally and know what wonderful parents they are.

The children are happy and prospering!

They are such a special family!!

Right now they are having a puzzle piece fundraiser to help fund this next adoption.

It is the cutest idea ever!!

They have bought a puzzle that they are having people buy pieces of, that will then bear the buyers name and be put in the completed puzzle.

They are putting the puzzle in a double sided frame and hanging it next to the child’s room so that the child will see how many people wanted to be a part of them becoming apart of their family.

What a gift!!

I am so being part of this!!

If you are interested or just want to see how God is making this adoption work for them here is the link to their family blog:

Are you helping Him?

Friend Graduates

Aimee and Samantha’s friend from Thailand, Chauna, graduated this month.

She is such a sweet girl.

I feel bad that we have n0t had enough time to really get to know her.

She was here as an exchange student and now that she has graduated is returning home.

It is amazing how God sometimes puts someone in your life, even if just for a short time, who just can touch your heart.

I know Chauna will go far in her life with her sweet disposition, determination, bravery, good heart and intelligence. She came here without knowing the English language at all, jumped into a school filled with (sorry to say)  kinda snobby high school kids, and proceeded to not only excel at her education but learn all about America at the same time.

Quite a feat to undertake for a young lady of 17 all by herself.

So congratulations seems not enough, but I will say it anyway, congratulations Chauna on all you have accomplished this year!!

Creative New Job

My son’s oldest friend Austin is so cute!

He is starting his own pet show business.

He invited us and a ton of other families down to the park to witness his first show.

He brought his ball python, tortoise, bearded dragon and his tarantula for everyone to see.

He gave background on all the animals and then let the little ones pet the animals.

He then he witnessed to everyone that the world was thousands not millions of years old. That if you looked at the animals and saw how they had changed over time, which was really only evolving down not up, that you had proof that Darwin is wrong. Only God could make such wondrous creatures.

He is so right!

Now my son and he are thinking about combining their animals and making the show bigger.

Have to let you know how that idea pans out.

Great show and witnessing though!

Great job Austin!!
