Here are Aimee’s Choco Cocoa Cookies!!
They are really tasty and made by a girl who usually does not like to cook :)
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs room temperature
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 bag chocolate chips
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Mix the sugars and the butter for about 3 or 4 minutes, till they are well mixed and fluffy. Add the vanilla and eggs and continue to mix.
In another bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder.
Add this to the mixture slowly, one 1/2 cup at a time.
Soon you will have a nice dough.
Add in the bag of chocolate chips right at the end. Then in rounded spoonfuls place them on your cookie pan about 2 inches apart.
Bake them for 12 minutes.
Take them out and let them cool for 3 or 4 minutes before you remove them from the cookie pan. I like to cool them on an old cereal box opened up. Sucks up the oil pretty good.
You should get almost 2 dozen cookies with this recipe.
